Today we have an unusual lesson - a literary cafe lesson. Thanks to our shared creative imagination, our office was transformed into a literary cafe by Sergei Aleksandrovich Yesenin

Of course, the theme of love has interested people in all centuries, at all times, and has left almost no one indifferent. And how could it be otherwise, without love there would be no life.

The topic of our lesson is on the board. As an epigraph, I offer you the words of Sergei Yesenin.

“I never lie with my heart,” Yesenin said about himself. Indeed, his works are unusually piercingly sincere. The Russian soul itself rings in them, rejoices, yearns, rushes, and “goes through torment.” The subject of our conversation will be Yesenin's poems about love.

In its development, Yesenin’s love lyrics pass through four seasons:

Love lyrics touch on the most intimate, intimate aspects of a person’s life. Many themes are inextricably linked with the theme of love. This means that in love lyrics the poet can express himself, his contemporaries, and the world around him. By its nature, lyric poetry is autobiographical. In October 1925. , talking about himself, the poet noted: “As for the rest of the autobiographical information, they are in my poems.” Therefore, revealing the theme of love, we will turn to the biography of the poet.

Love motives arose in the poet’s student debuts, in the second year of his stay at the church-teachers’ school in Spas-Klepiki. And Yesenin was inspired by Anna Sardanovskaya, the sister of his friend. So, word to group 1.

With Anna Sardanovskaya Yesenin made friends even before leaving for Spas-Klepiki. Coming to his native village in the summer, he often met with her. Konstantinovsky old-timers remember how “one summer evening, Anna and Sergei, flushed, holding each other’s hands, ran into the priest’s house and asked the nun who was there to separate them, saying: “We love each other and in the future we promise to marry.” Break us apart. Let the one who first cheats and gets married, let the second one beat him with brushwood.” Anna was the first to break the “agreement”. Having arrived from Moscow, Yesenin wrote a letter, asking the same nun to give it to Anna, who after her marriage lived in a neighboring village. She, handing over the letter, asked: “What is Seryozha writing?” Anna said with sadness in her voice: “He, mother, asks you to take a bunch of brushwood and beat me as much as you have the strength.”

Yesenin dedicated the poem “Beyond the Mountains, Beyond the Yellow Valleys...” to Anna Sardanovskaya.

Anna Sardanovskaya briefly took a place in the poet’s heart, but the memory of this hobby remained for years. Already a mature poet, 4 years after the breakup, Yesenin dedicated these poems to her. They were published in 1916. A characteristic feature of this poem, like other poems about love of these years, is the complete absence of realities associated with past meetings and with experienced feelings. The heroine of the poem is a poor wanderer whom the lyrical hero calls upon to pray for his lost soul. .

These poems are imbued with light sadness about what has not come true. Here is a premonition of the poet’s tragic fate: Pray before the face of the savior for my lost soul.
The vocabulary of the poem is deeply religious. Here the earthly merges with the heavenly: “above the church domes”, “on a high mountain there is a monastery”, “the gentle spirit of a monastery resident”.

Anna Sardanovskaya introduced Sergei Yesenin to her friend, also a student of the Ryazan Diocesan Women's School, who was vacationing in the summer of 1912 with her relative in the village of Konstantinov. A new love interest comes to the poet during a difficult period of his life. Life in Moscow and hated office work. Discord with father. Then the break. Work in the printing house of I.D. Sytin. So, Yesenin came into lifeAnna Izryadnova.
Soon after Yesenin got a job at a printing house, he met a young Muscovite Anna Izryadnova and her sisters Serafima and Nadezhda. The sisters were progressive girls of that era. They earned their own living, went to lectures and rallies, and were fond of fashionable poets - Balmont, Severyanin, Akhmatova. At the very first meeting, Sergei Yesenin excited Anna’s heart: “He came meek, shy, shy of everyone and everything... In appearance he did not look like a village guy... He was wearing a brown suit, a high starched collar and a bright green tie... a shock of golden curls." In 1914, Sergei Yesenin entered into a civil marriage with Anna Izryadnova. The young people rented a room and began family life. Izryadnova became the mother of the poet’s first son, Yuri, who was born in Moscow on January 21, 1915. In March, Yesenin left for Petrograd for fame. They broke up. The last time Anna Izryadnova saw him was before the fateful trip to Leningrad in the fall of 1925. “He said that he came to say goodbye, asked not to spoil him, to take care of his son.” Didn't save it. Yesenin Yuri Sergeevich, an aircraft design technician, was shot on June 27, 1937 in Moscow, where he was born, on charges of preparing an assassination attempt on Stalin.

In 1917-18, Sergei Alexandrovich published poems, accompanying them with the subtitle “From the book “Poems about Love,” which was not destined to be published. Kashina . “The girl in white” or in the “white cape” the poet has the same face - Lydia Kashina. She was a fellow villager of Yesenin, the daughter of a landowner who lived in Konstantinov. The young man had a tender feeling for her, and they met many times. The culmination of this strange and mysterious romance was the meeting of Sergei Yesenin with Lydia Kashina in the summer of 1917, after the owner of the estate had already given up her two-story house in Konstantinov to the village world, and she herself had moved to live on another estate - in Bely Yar, on Meadow. towards the Oka River, which is several miles from Konstantinov. In memory of that summer, about the meeting in Bely Yar, Yesenin wrote a poem dedicated to Lydia Kashina, which was published in 1918.

Returning from the village to Petrograd, Yesenin in July 1917 set off with the staff of the newspaper Delo Naroda on an ethnographic expedition. He was accompanied by a newspaper employeeZinaida Reich.
Yesenin's trip to the North with Zinaida Reich and the poet Alexei Ganin, who was also in love with her, is one of the most little-studied pages of the poet's life. What is known is that on the way back from Solovki, Yesenin proposed to Zinaida Reich. They got married on August 4, 1917 in the Kiriko-Ulitovskaya Church near Vologda. The poet's first official wife was an extraordinary person. The period of their life together in Petrograd, and then in Moscow, was the only period of his family happiness. It was a love so clear, peaceful, whole that even dislike entered the phase of sad dramatic experiences, it poured into poetry. An Irish woman with American citizenship, who came to Russia to teach children to dance, whose talent even the great Stanislavsky admired, won the heart of the young poet, despite the fact that she was twice as old as Yesenin. The meeting between Yesenin and Duncan took place at the artist Yakulov’s place. In the same 1921, they registered their marriage and went to travel around Europe.

Yesenin spent almost six months abroad, wrote little away from his homeland, and was greatly homesick for Russia. In the fall of 1923, his marriage to Duncan breaks up, and Yesenin returns to his homeland. Upon his return, he writes a cycle of poems "Moscow Tavern". True, the first poems of this cycle were written abroad. Love for Isadora Duncan was not reflected in Yesenin’s work, except for a cursory mention in the last poem “The Black Man”:

A year after the death of Sergei Yesenin, a shot was fired at his grave at the Vagankovskoye cemetery, on December 3, 1926.
