Snack from thin pita bread- such an excellent dish that you can serve it at any time of the day: for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Today we propose to make a spring treat from lavash, adding a filling of first greens and eggs. Housewives often prepare delicious pies this way, the only drawback of which is the long kneading of the dough. We excluded it from the cooking chain, because we found a suitable sheet of thin pita bread.

Ingredients

Lavash 100 g

Green onions 150 g

Egg 4 pcs.

Salt to taste

Black pepper (ground) to taste

Sunflower oil 2 tbsp. l.

Preparation

1. Hard-boil 3 eggs, then grate them on a coarse grater. Mix with chopped green onions. Salt and pepper the filling.

2. Cut the pita bread into equal rectangles. Place a tablespoon of filling in each and roll as you would wrap the filling in a pancake.

3. Dip each envelope into beaten egg. You can add your favorite seasonings to the batter, such as turmeric, paprika, a mixture of peppers, oregano.

4. Fry the envelopes on both sides in a frying pan with vegetable oil until golden brown.

5. Done! Serve lazy pies with sour cream and fresh vegetables.

Wash and dry the green onions, then finely chop.

Grate boiled eggs and hard cheese. Combine cheese, eggs and green onions in a bowl and mix.
Add sour cream, salt and pepper to the cheese, eggs and onions, you can also add fresh dill or parsley, mix well and the filling for lavash pies is ready.

Cut each sheet of pita bread into 6 squares. There are usually 2 sheets per package, so we get 12 squares.

Place 1.5-2 tablespoons of filling on the edge of the lavash square.

Tuck the pita bread on both sides, and then roll it into a tube from the edge.

Prepare all the lavash pies filled with eggs and onions in this way.

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place the pies in it. Beat the egg in a bowl and brush all the pies with it. If desired, you can sprinkle dry basil or other herbs on top.

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and bake the pies for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden.

I want to tell you how to cook pita bread with onions. This appetizer is very simple and very tasty. Anyone who adored pies with onions and eggs as a child will immediately recognize their favorite taste! Try it, it's great!

As a child, my grandmother made me pies with onions and eggs. Then it seemed to me that this was the most delicious combination in the world. Now, in moments of nostalgia, I make this pita bread with onions at home. There is no need to struggle with the dough, but the taste is the same. Try it yourself!

Number of servings: 3-4

Ingredients for 3 servings

  • Thin lavash - 2 pieces
  • Eggs - 6 pieces (5 pieces - for the filling, one egg - for greasing the pita bread)
  • Green onion - 1 bunch
  • Sour cream - 2 tbsp. spoons (can be replaced with any sauce)
  • Spices - To taste

Step by step

  1. Boil the eggs hard and let them cool. Then we grate them, combine them with chopped onions and sour cream. I didn’t use any spices other than salt, but you can add them.
  2. Spread the pita bread and divide it into equal pieces. The number of pieces is equal to the number of future servings. Spread the filling and roll it into a tight roll.
  3. Beat the remaining egg with a whisk until smooth, and brush each roll with this mixture. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until browned. Ready!
